particularly for body panel and structural component. It offers an excellent balance of strength,

Common Tempers for Automotive Applications
For automotive body panel applications, the most common tempers for 5754 aluminum are the
H2x (e.g., H22, H24, H26)
H22 : 1/4 hard. Offers good formability with moderate strength.
H24 : 1/2 hard. This is the most typical and frequently used temper. It provides the best balance
of strength, and formability, making it ideal for stamping parts like doors, hoods, and fenders.

Al-Mg alloy (2.6–3.6% Mg), non-heat-treatable (strengthened by cold working).
Corrosion resistance:
Superior to 6xxx series (no intergranular corrosion risk), ideal for humid/salty environments.
Weldability:
